Children Educated and Cared for
Not Corporates!
Worried your child won’t get the support they need in a big, busy childcare centre? At Centenary Childcare Centre, we keep things personal.
We’re family-owned, locally trusted, and focused on what matters most, giving your child the care, structure, and attention they need to thrive.
With university-qualified educators, strong routines, and a genuine school-readiness program, we help your child build confidence, make friends, and feel right at home from day one.
From the moment your child walks through the gate, they’re welcomed into a space that feels safe, fun, and full of opportunity.
It’s a place where laughter rings out daily, friendships are formed naturally, and every child is treated with care, patience, and genuine attention.
It’s not just care, it’s a place they’ll love coming back to. A place where milestones are celebrated, challenges are supported, and every small win matters.
From nursery to nursery to school age, our warm and experienced educators are the heart of everything we do.
Many of our team members have been with us for years, building trusted relationships with local families across Mount Ommaney, Jindalee, Middle Park, Riverhills, and the surrounding suburbs.
Each educator brings deep expertise in early childhood development, paired with a genuine love for what they do.
Want to see who’ll be caring for your child in our centre?
Centenary Childcare Centre has been serving the Mount Ommaney community since 1995—helping hundreds of local families raise happy, confident children. We're not a franchise or a pop-up centre. We're family-owned, community-rooted, and built on long-term relationships with generations of local parents.
We’re proud to have a low staff turnover—something that's incredibly rare in childcare. That means your child sees the same smiling faces every day, building strong bonds with educators they trust. Parents love knowing their child isn’t constantly adjusting to new staff.
Our program isn’t just babysitting. It's a carefully designed, play-based curriculum that prepares your child for Prep and beyond. With a strong focus on early literacy, numeracy, and social development, your child learns through play—without ever feeling like they’re in a classroom.
We work hard to make sure your child feels safe, seen, and genuinely cared for. From warm welcomes in the morning to personalised attention throughout the day, we create a calm, nurturing space where your child can grow at their own pace and feel part of a close-knit community.
Yes, we’re fully certified. Yes, we meet all the safety and compliance standards. But we also go beyond the basics—daily routines run smoothly, communication with parents is proactive, and the environment is clean, joyful, and packed with opportunities for discovery.
At Centenary Childcare Centre, every program is designed to meet your child where they are, whether they’re just six weeks old or getting ready for school. Scroll through to see how we support their growth, learning, and confidence at every stage.
Our Nursery program provides a safe, nurturing space for babies aged 6 weeks to 15 months to grow, explore, and bond with familiar educators. With gentle routines, sensory play, and personalised care, we support your child’s development during their most important early milestones.
Our Pre-Toddlers program supports children aged 15 months to 2 years as they explore the world with growing confidence. Through guided play, nurturing routines, and plenty of movement, we help your little one build early social, emotional, and communication skills in a safe, supportive space.
Our Toddler program supports children aged 2 to 3 as they develop independence, social awareness, and everyday life skills. Through stories, music, imaginative play, and hands-on experiences, we help toddlers build focus, confidence, and curiosity.
Our Junior Preschool program supports children aged 3 to 4 as they take their next big developmental leap. We introduce early literacy, numeracy, and science through hands-on learning, stories, and real-world exploration.
When your child joins our Preschool program, they’re not just learning letters and numbers. They’re growing in confidence, curiosity, and independence. With the support of university-qualified teachers who know how to bring out their best.
Our OSHC program is designed for children aged 6 to 12 who need a safe, engaging space outside school hours. With a balance of structured activities, free play, and downtime, we support social growth, independence, and creativity in a relaxed environment.
Centenary Childcare Centre has been officially recognised as exceeding the National Quality Standard across all seven areas assessed by ACECQA.
That means every part of your child’s experience—from health and safety to learning programs and educator relationships—meets the highest benchmarks in Australian early education.
It’s not just a tick of approval—it’s proof that we care deeply about getting the important things right.
“This is my first time sending my child to childcare and the experience has been nothing but positive.”
This is my first time sending my child to childcare and the experience has been nothing but positive. The staff in the office are so lovely and welcoming. All the educators on the grounds always have a hello as you walk by. The teachers in my daughters room are lovely. Always keeping my up to date on how she is travelling and always a big hello when we see them in the morning.
The staff, the centre, the learnings, the ethos at Centenary Childcare is AMAZING
The staff, the centre, the learnings, the ethos at Centenary Childcare is AMAZING! We have been SO happy with our daughter’s experience, and ours as parents! The kids love going there as the staff love being there. You feel it the moment you walk through the doors. If childcare centres were this fun and supportive when I was growing up, I’d never want to come home! I can’t recommend them highly enough!
“We’re in the process of putting our second child through this large and well maintained centre.
We’re in the process of putting our second child through this large and well maintained centre. The majority of staff there love what they do and it shows. Even Julio the maintenance man there engages with the kids well. They have water play for the hot times of year and plenty of other activities and events to engage the kids otherwise. Honestly brings a smile to my face walking through there.
“We are so happy to have found this centre.
We are so happy to have found this centre. Despite this being a large childcare facility, they provide a very welcoming, personable and caring environment. My children have settled into their classes so easily and thoroughly enjoy their time spent with the staff and other children. We have experience with the nursery, toddlers, kindy, before/after school care and vacation care.
“Excellent center.
Excellent center. All educators including Management Team go above and beyond in everything. They provide the best care and educational programs for children. My both kids started at 2yrs old and I have been going there since 2017. The staff is consistent, loving, passionate and very experienced. The centre and every space is always very organised, clean and beautifully decorated.
“My nephew attends here and I just love it.
My nephew attends here and I just love it.
Whilst the centre is absolutely huge and there are a lot of children in attendance, it is always so calm & welcoming.
Educators are always ready to assist parents when they arrive, not sitting in bunches gossiping with one another, but actively engaged with the children.
